In the words of Charles Dickens, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…" This may sum up this past year for many of us. As we come to the end of 2018 it's easy to look ahead to the new year with plans for a fresh start. A clean slate. But what about all that has brought us to this point? How can we see God in the midst of the blessings and the trials. This Sunday, we will dive into Luke 17:11-19 and explore what it means to look back on the goodness and grace that Jesus has extended to us. The text challenges us to slow down, see where God has been in the past and because of that, have hope for where he will be in the days to come.
