Welcome to Protégé!

Vintage Faith Church’s Protégé Internship Program is a leadership immersion experience for individuals (post high school-under 29 yrs old) who are interested in pursuing vocational ministry.

Each intern becomes part of a ministry team based on their interests and will serve 25 hours a week.

We have theology training and hands-on ministry immersion happening as intern are part our church staff for a year. Free housing is provided in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz.

The program runs August 2021 - July 2022.

A key part of the experience is developing skills as you discover your passions and gifts in regards to a distinct area of ministry. Each intern will be assigned to one area based on their interests and will serve 25 hours a week within that ministry. Possible ministry teams include:

  • Spiritual Formation/Discipleship Ministry

  • Connections & Community Assimilation Ministry

  • Women’s & Men’s Ministry

  • Worship & Creative Arts

  • Youth Ministry

  • Children’s Ministry

  • College & Young Adult Ministry

  • Media, Tech/Sound, Video

  • Coffeehouse Ministry/Management
