ESCALATORS & ETERNITY - MATTHEW 6:19-24
Engrained in our culture and in our personal lives is our relentless pursuit for more—and not just possessions. We want more in our career, more in our church, more in our businesses, schools, families, etc. Because of this, we lack satisfaction. In his sermon on the mount, Jesus tells us that no one can “serve two masters,” because our devotions will be divided. And yet, through complete devotion to Jesus, he promises us a life of “treasures in heaven.” How can we respond to Jesus’ words of abundance in a world of never-enough? Join us on Sunday, June 23rd, as guest teacher Chris Nye helps us dive into the truth of what the Scripture means when it says less is more.
