Ways to Serve with the Global Team

MISSION SUPPORT TEAM: 

  • Help purchase Christmas gifts for our Global Partners & families (Oct/Nov)

  • Adopt a missionary with your Community Group or ministry small group

  • Host missionaries when they are visiting

  • Sign up to receive missionary updates, and commit to praying for our Global Partners

  • Give regularly to our VFC Global fund

  • Take a trip to visit workers and be an encouragement

  • Ask the VFC Global team for other specific ways if you are interested

EVENTS TEAM: 

Help plan various events with the goal of educating & inviting the community of VFC into global compassion & action.

  • Plan & host Missionary Dessert nights

  • Help send Christmas packages overseas

  • Plan Global awareness/Educational events

  • Host a table after a gathering for Global Compassion projects

  • Christmas Compassion events

SHORT TERM MISSIONS:

  • Be part of a short-term trip that VFC is taking

  • Read inspiring biographies of missionaries past

  • Learn about Cross-cultural immersion, contextualization & people-groups

  • Take the Perspectives Class offered somewhere in the Bay Area

  • Start learning a new language

  • Engage right here in your own home-town, look for opportunities

You are welcome to apply through our GlobalTeam to receive prayer and/or financial support for a short-term or long-term season of serving as a Global Missionary.  We love to partner with others who have a heart to serve cross-culturally, with the good news!   Learn more here
