1 Thessalonians is one of the Apostle Paul's earliest letters, written to a young church in the busy, influential Greek metropolis of Thessalonica.  This early church faced a number of profound challenges, and in this short - but powerful - letter, Paul writes to comfort these Christians with the reminder that King Jesus is setting things right, right now, and will return one day in a glorious scene to restore all things, once and for all.
